Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Livingstone to Nanzhila Lake Camp

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Livingstone. Travel towards the southern section of Kafue National Park, enjoying the changing landscapes as you leave Livingstone and enter Zambia's wilderness.

Upon arrival at Nanzhila Lake Camp, check in and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the surrounding wilderness and looking for elephants, buffalo, antelope, predators and a variety of bird species.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Full Day Safari at Nanzhila Lake Camp

Wake up early for your first safari activity of the day. Enjoy an early morning game drive, when wildlife is often most active and temperatures are cooler.

Return to camp for breakfast and some time to relax.

After lunch, head out for your second safari activity — an afternoon/evening game drive. Explore different areas of the park while searching for wildlife and enjoying the spectacular African wilderness.

Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Nanzhila Lake Safari Experience

Start the day with an early morning guided safari activity, providing another opportunity to observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

After breakfast and time at camp, enjoy lunch before heading out for your second safari activity of the day.

The afternoon excursion may include a game drive or another suitable safari experience depending on seasonal conditions, wildlife movements and camp operations.

Return to Nanzhila Lake Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Nanzhila Lake Camp to Kaingu Safari Lodge

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards Kaingu Safari Lodge in the central Kafue region.

The transfer provides an opportunity to experience the changing landscapes and wilderness of Kafue National Park.

Arrive at Kaingu Safari Lodge, check in and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, embark on your first safari activity around the lodge. Depending on conditions, this may be a game drive, boat safari or another suitable guided activity.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Full Day Safari at Kaingu Safari Lodge
