Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Mfuwe Airport to South Luangwa National Park

Arrive at Mfuwe Airport, where you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to Flatdogs Camp.

After check-in and lunch, settle into the camp and enjoy the surroundings.

In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in South Luangwa National Park. Explore the park's diverse habitats while looking for elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, predators and abundant birdlife.

As the afternoon progresses, continue into the evening for an exciting sunset/night safari experience, depending on park and camp operating conditions.

Return to Flatdogs Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Full Day Safari in South Luangwa

Wake up early and prepare for your first safari activity of the day.

Enjoy an early morning game drive, when wildlife is particularly active and temperatures are cooler. Explore different areas of South Luangwa with your experienced safari guide.

Return to camp for breakfast and time to relax.

After lunch, depart for your second safari activity. Enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive, searching for wildlife as the bush becomes more active towards sunset.

Return to Flatdogs Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Full Day Safari Experience

Begin another exciting day with an early morning game drive through South Luangwa National Park.

Explore the park's rivers, lagoons, woodland and open areas while searching for wildlife. South Luangwa is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and excellent predator sightings.

Return to camp for breakfast and relaxation.

After lunch, head out for your second safari activity of the day. Enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Return to Flatdogs Camp for dinner and your final night.

Day 4 – Final Safari & Departure

Wake up early for your final safari activity in South Luangwa National Park.

Return to camp for breakfast and check-out.

Depending on your flight departure time, you may have time to relax at camp before your transfer to Mfuwe Airport.
